Operator and agreement

GetCitedByAI is operated by Daniil Sokolov, an individual based in Belgium. Contact support@getcitedbyai.io for legal, billing, or service questions.

By creating an account or using the service, the user agrees to these Terms and acknowledges the Privacy policy.

Who may use the service

The service is available to consumers and to people acting for a business or organisation. A person creating an account confirms that they are at least 18 years old and, when acting for an organisation, that they have authority to bind it.

Accounts and acceptable use

Users must provide accurate account information, protect their credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. Users are responsible for activity under their account unless caused by GetCitedByAI's breach of these Terms.

Users may submit only URLs and text they are authorised to analyse. They must not use the service to break the law, infringe rights, probe private networks, distribute malware, interfere with the service, bypass access or usage controls, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or submit secrets or sensitive personal data that are unnecessary for an audit.

The audit service

GetCitedByAI analyses supplied page material and produces citation-readiness findings supported by captured evidence. Reports are informational tools, not promises of search visibility, AI citation, ranking, revenue, or any other result. Model output can be incomplete or incorrect and should be reviewed by a qualified person before publication or business decisions.

Audit definitions, reports, and historical comparisons can depend on evidence captured at a particular time. Historical evidence is not revalidated whenever a saved report is opened.

Credits, prices, and taxes

  • Paid credits are prepaid digital service credits. One credit is consumed by one successfully delivered validated audit run.
  • Purchased credits do not expire, have no cash value, cannot be transferred outside the workspace, and are not a bank or stored-value account.
  • The available one-time offers are five or fifty credits. No subscription or recurring allowance is included.
  • Prices are shown before Checkout, and Stripe Checkout shows the final total before payment.
  • The buyer is responsible for accurate billing and tax information and for taxes that the law places on the buyer.

Final purchases and credit remedies

Credits are issued to the workspace immediately after payment. A consumer who buys credits asks for that immediate delivery and acknowledges that the statutory right of withdrawal ends once the credits are issued, to the extent consumer law allows. A purchase becomes final and non-refundable when its credits are issued, except where mandatory law requires otherwise or a charge is duplicate or incorrect. Purchased credits are not redeemable for cash.

A run that consumes a credit but fails to deliver a validated report restores that credit. If a delivered report has a material defect, contact support@getcitedbyai.io within 14 days of delivery with enough detail to review the issue. If accepted, the remedy may be a rerun or replacement credit, not a promised cash refund.

Intellectual property

Users retain their rights in submitted material and grant GetCitedByAI the limited right to process it to provide, secure, and support the service. GetCitedByAI and its licensors retain rights in the product, software, methodology, templates, and branding. Subject to these Terms and third-party rights in source material, the account holder may use and share their delivered report for internal and client work.

Availability, suspension, and termination

The service may change, pause, or experience errors. No uptime or response-time commitment is made. Access may be suspended or terminated where reasonably necessary to address security or legal risk, non-payment, abuse, or a material breach. A user may stop using the service and request account deletion through support; retention required by law or described in the Privacy policy can continue.

Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by mandatory law, the service is provided as available without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or a guaranteed outcome. GetCitedByAI is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, or decisions made from an audit report.

To the extent permitted by mandatory law, aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount the account holder paid to GetCitedByAI during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

Belgian law and changes

These Terms are governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to mandatory rules that apply regardless of that choice. Disputes are subject to the courts having jurisdiction under applicable Belgian law. The operator will seek a practical resolution through support@getcitedbyai.io before proceedings where appropriate.

The current version is identified by the date at the top. Material changes apply prospectively after publication or other reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date of an updated version constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
